New Openings & Recent Reviews
A Recycled Cafe, Michelin-Rated Reviews & A Burger Legend's New Deli
Milk Bun Deli: Exciting news from the team behind one of Bristol's best-loved burger spots. The owners of Milk Bun on Clifton Down have just got the keys to the shop next door and have announced they will be transforming it into their own deli. Keep an eye out for more news on this one.
The Cafe at Old Drumbank Studios: A new cafe has opened on Sommerville Road within the Old Drumbank Studios. Built almost entirely from recycled and reclaimed materials, the new spot serves coffee from Radical Roasters in Easton, as well as a selection of locally-sourced herbal teas, cakes, and snacks. In early October, the cafe will be joined by Hot Wax, a shop selling vinyl, prints, and clothing.
Cor Restaurant: The talk of the town this week is Cor on North Street. This Michelin Bib Gourmand holder has been earning high praise across social media for its incredible food and buzzing atmosphere. Standout dishes getting a mention include a perfectly executed steak tartare and delicate cannellini beans with caviar, cementing its reputation as a must-visit.
Msala Postcode by Msala Library: A familiar favourite in Easton has relaunched with a new identity. The restaurant formerly known as Masala Ministry is now Msala Postcode by Msala Library. The team is back on High Street serving their beloved traditional Indian dishes with a focus on warm, family-style hospitality.

Local Highlight
Nala Noodles
For those who haven't yet had the pleasure, Nala Noodles on Whiteladies Road is a fantastic independent that's been winning over locals since it opened. Bringing authentic Hong Kong-style noodle dishes to the area, this spot has built a stellar reputation for two key reasons: quality food and genuinely brilliant service. In a city that loves its noodles, Nala stands out from the crowd by focusing on doing the simple things exceptionally well.
The difference is in the details. The team makes their noodles and spring rolls from scratch, and you can taste it. The broths are rich and flavourful, and reports are consistent in calling the homemade spring rolls some of the best in Bristol. Beyond the food, what continues to make an impression is the incredibly friendly welcome. It’s the kind of place that’s passionate about what they do and truly appreciates your custom. For a comforting, affordable, and delicious meal, Nala Noodles is well worth a visit.
That’s it for this week.
