New Openings & Recent Reviews
A Viral Chinese Takeaway, A New Wapping Wharf Cheesemonger & a 'Game-Changer' Breakfast Roll
Kaimin's Kitchen: A review for this takeaway on Alberton Road went viral this week, and for good reason. Forget your standard fare; this spot is serving properly authentic Chinese food. We're talking home-made dumplings and dry pot beef. It's already a firm favourite with the local Chinese student population, and now the secret is well and truly out.
The Cheese Connection: There's a new indie at Wapping Wharf! After building a loyal following from their popular food truck, The Cheese Connection opened their first permanent shop on Friday. They're all about championing exceptional British cheeses and it's a fantastic addition to the harbourside.
Nomads BBQ: A glowing review from Midsomer Norton caught our eye. The "Brisket Breakfast Roll" is being hailed as a game-changer, featuring 10-hour smoked brisket, Emmental cheese, egg, and a hash brown. It's well worth the drive for any serious BBQ lover. Pre-ordering is recommended as they often sell out.
BakeALicious: The Distillery on the corner of Northcote Road has a new resident. BakeALicious, a new Greek pastry cafe, celebrated its grand opening last week. Head over for authentic pastries, coffee, and more.

Local Highlight
Divino Deli
Tucked away just off Whiteladies Road is Divino Deli, an independent, family-run delicatessen that has been bringing a slice of Italy to Bristol since 2013. Owners Francesco & Francesca have created a small shop that is absolutely bursting at the seams with delicacies, offering an authentic experience from the moment you step inside. It's a true neighbourhood gem, born from a passion for sharing the best of their home country.
The shelves are laden with some of the finest quality products Italy has to offer, with the owners constantly sourcing new and exciting producers that you won't find anywhere else. You're guaranteed to fill your pantry with excellent ingredients, with premium brands like Pasta Afeltra and Passalacqua coffee alongside cured meats imported directly from Prosciuttificio Ciarcia. It’s the perfect spot to find that special ingredient to elevate your home cooking.
