Bath Sarnie Royalty Coming To Victoria Street: Popular Bath sandwich slinger Green Street is bringing its rotisserie goods across to Bristol. They're setting up shop at 100 Victoria Street. There won't be a butcher's counter at this spot, but you can expect a bigger food menu, stacks of freshly baked goods, coffee, and indoor seating for up to 40 people.

New Specialty Coffee Spot On Passage Street: Married couple Charlie Chung and Tiff Chan are opening Fenix Coffee this August on Passage Street, right opposite the weeping willow tree near the old shot tower. Rather than sticking to a single house blend, they'll rotate specialty beans every few weeks from top roasters like Dark Arts and Taith, served alongside Japanese shokupan milk bread.

Pan-Mediterranean Pantry Heading To Chandos Road: The team behind Cotham favourites Snobby's and Barroux are setting up Mr Nick's Pantry on the corner of Chandos Road and Cowper Road. By day, it'll be a curated deli with fresh flowers, sandwiches, and quality produce. Come evening, it transforms into a wine and pasta bar with a pan-Mediterranean menu. Keep an eye out for a little spritz bar in the corner, outdoor bench seating, and future plans for a wine cellar downstairs.

Bristol's Top Pasta Recommendations: Local guide IN Bristol has pulled together a roundup of some of the best places to grab a bowl of fresh pasta across town. The list highlights hits like Little Hollows in Redland, Cotto Wine Bar & Kitchen off Corn Street, Redcliffe local favourite La Panza (great for a lunch deal), Pasta Ripiena in the city centre for stuffed pasta, and Magari down at Wapping Wharf for a casual catch-up.

Lakeside Feasts at Valley Fest (30th July - 2nd August): Set on the shores of Chew Valley Lake, Valley Fest returns with a major focus on food alongside its live music lineup. Expect grand fire feasts, top-tier local chef demos, and plenty of stallholders serving everything from organic bites to local craft drinks. It's properly good eating by the water.

Vinyl Fair and Neapolitan Pizza (1st August): CanCan Pizza are joining forces with local outfit Rest Room Records for an afternoon of crate digging and fresh Neapolitan pies. The vinyl fair runs from 12pm to 5pm, followed by live DJs spinning tunes right through until 9pm. It's a real laid-back spot to grab a slice and hunt for rare records.

Smash Burgers and Stand-Up Comedy (7th August): Stand-up comedy makes a return to the Hop Union Brewery taproom in Brislington. They'll have a stacked lineup of live comics alongside guest vendor Really Good Burgers slinging their top-rated smash burgers. Entry is completely free, though you'll need to drop them a message to reserve a table.

Summer Day Party in Thornbury (29th August): The Yard at No.8 in Thornbury is throwing a massive day-to-night yard party, running from 1pm through to midnight. You can expect a deep drinks list, plenty of food, and a solid soundtrack spanning house, garage, 90s hip hop, funk, and soul. Keep an eye on their Instagram stories as ticket drops are imminent.

Authentic Croatian Dining at Beeses (17th Sept): Tucked away on the River Avon in Brislington, Beeses is putting on a special Croatian dining night featuring guest chef Ma Beeses. Running from 6pm to 9pm, they'll be serving up a traditional Croatian menu. You must pre-book your table via email, or combine your evening with a trip on the Bristol Ferry directly to their riverbank jetty.
