Cow & Sow's Farm Shop Opens & Where COR's Mark Chapman Eats

Cow & Sow's Farm Shop Opens: The Field Farmshop & Kitchen in Flax Bourton opens on Thursday 22nd October. It's from the team behind Cow & Sow, the premium steakhouse, and sits on almost an acre just outside Bristol. The kitchen does hearty breakfasts and brunch, then lunch and a later menu, with a signature roast on Sundays. There's a deli counter for takeaway too. Inside seats 70, and the decking takes another 40. The shop sells local chutneys, jams, bakes, ice cream and honey from The Field's own beehives.

Where COR's Mark Chapman Eats: Mark Chapman, co-owner of COR and Ragù, has shared a list of top food and drink picks in the city with Visit Bristol. The list is Little Vic's on Wapping Wharf, Marmo in the city centre, Bulrush in Cotham, Yakiniku on Park Street and Pinto in the city centre. COR and Ragù are both recognised by the Michelin Guide, and both do a three-course lunch for £30.
