Bristol’s Best Tiramisu, Harbourside Pints & American Pies
New Custodians For The Arnolfini: Big news for the harbourside! Wiper & True and FED are teaming up to take over the Arnolfini cafe and bar, stepping in for Bristol Beer Factory. They're currently serving drinks outside, with the inside bar opening its doors in early June after a fresh refurb. Expect amazing coffee, delicious bakes, and beautifully poured pints.
American Pies On St Marks: Bristol finally has a proper American pie spot! Oh My! Pie Co. has set up a permanent home inside Radical Roasters on St Marks Road over in Easton. Handcrafted by Michelin-trained chef Amy Symonds, you can grab a top-tier slice for just £4.50. You can also DM them for whole pie deliveries if you're hosting a proper feast.
Big Chains Hit City Centre: We know Bristolians fiercely protect our independent food scene, so the arrival of a couple of major chains right in the centre might rustle a few feathers. The viral international brand Blank Street officially landed on Park Street on Saturday, May 16th, serving up their matcha and pastries in those inescapable mint green cups. Over on Corn Street, London's Pizza Pilgrims is taking over the beloved old Stanfords bookshop, officially opening their doors on Monday, June 15th. While these big names will inevitably pull in the crowds, let's not forget the amazing independent spots right around the corner that actually keep Bristol's food scene ticking. We highly recommend grabbing a locally roasted brew from Hem Coffee just down the road, or getting your pizza fix from homegrown favourites like Pizzarova and Pizza Workshop instead!
Midweek Burgers At Royal Oak: Jose Ardito has brought a mouth-watering new food menu to The Royal Oak in Clifton. Available Tuesday through Thursday, the lineup features crowd-pleasers like the 'El Gallo' and the Colombian Burger. It's the perfect excuse for a cheeky midweek pub trip!
MEY•ZE Extends To Daytime Cafe: Chandos Road favourite MEY•ZE has just made our mornings a whole lot better. They're now open as a daytime café from Monday to Wednesday, running from 9am to 1pm. Swing by Redland for coffee, cake, and brilliant company.
Bristol's Best Tiramisu Taste Test: Wondering who does the best tiramisu in the city? Local food creator @bosfinesse just dropped a video reviewing the top six spots, putting the finest Italian restaurants head-to-head. Heavyweights like Bosco Pizzeria, Little Hollows, Gigi's Pizza Shop, RAGÙ, and Magari are all featured. Save this one for the next time you've got serious dessert cravings!

Local Highlight
Little Hollows Pasta

If you're wandering down Chandos Road and find yourself mesmerised by fresh pasta being theatrically hand-crafted in a shop window, you've stumbled upon a true Redland gem. Little Hollows Pasta at number 26 has been serving up uncompromising artisan Italian food since they first opened their doors on the 25th of September 2021. What started as a passion project for a self-taught pastai has blossomed into a buzzing neighbourhood favourite that's rightly earned itself a Michelin Bib Gourmand. They source their fantastic ingredients from independent, family-run importers to make sure every single bite hits the mark. Let's be honest, watching perfectly yellow pasta being rolled out from the pavement is the foodie equivalent of a hypnotic pendulum!
Whether you're popping in for a relaxed daytime feed or looking for an intimate evening spot, they've got you sorted. Lunch runs from 12pm to 3pm, Tuesday to Saturday, where you can soak up the bright dining room or head out to their sunny garden when the Bristol weather actually decides to play ball. Dinner kicks off from 5.30pm onwards, bringing a lively atmosphere and an a la carte menu that champions bronze-die extruded shapes like linguine alongside their speciality handmade filled pastas. Just bear in mind they keep evening party sizes to a maximum of six guests to make sure everyone's comfortable, so it's the perfect excuse for a cosy double date or a highly anticipated catch-up with close mates.
